If you need a quick Christmas art activity, you’ll love this santa coloring page. You can print it and color it with markers, color pencils or crayons. You can even scan it and color it digitally.

I think you’ll enjoy this coloring sheet because you can decorate by adding embellishments to it once you’re done coloring.

How to print a Christmas Coloring Book

If you like the single coloring sheet, then you might want to use the set of printables to make a coloring book.

This way you have all of your Xmas coloring sheets in one place.

It’s simple to print the coloring pages as a book. Most home printers will have an option to print several pages as a booklet.

I suggest only printing on one side, in case you want to use markers to color. The ink from the markers may bleed onto the other side of the page.

Once you print the sheets, fold them in half and staple the pages in the middle. If you don’t like the look of the staples showing, add a piece of masking tape or washi tape to cover them up.

Bonus Tip: Add a decorative border to the cover of the coloring book with a few pieces of washi tape!

How to Use the Santa Coloring Pages

Once you’ve colored the coloring page with your markers or colored pencils, try adding a few more ideas to decorate it.

Add some sparkle with glitter markers
Make snowflakes from white pipe cleaners and place them around the edges of the santa
Stick silver bells on the top
Glue cotton ball under Santa’s feet to make it look like snow.
Draw Santa hats around the border.

Set up a table in the kitchen or any area of your home that you use for arts and arts.

Put a stack of Santa printables (at least one for each person) on the table. Add the pipe cleaners, bells and other decorations in different bowls in the middle of the table.

You can either, show the kids how to embellish the santa or let them make up their own. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to have at least one finished example to show them.
