There is something extra special and magical about Christmas. It’s also a chance to do more things together as a family. Creative activities like coloring and drawing are two ways to get the family together. Turn the Printable Into a Coloring Book

I’ve listed some tips to print the coloring pages as a book. Since most home printers have an option to print several pages as a booklet, this should be pretty easy to do.
Holiday Coloring Book Tips
- Print the coloring sheet on one side of the paper
- Fold the sheets in half and
- Staple the pages in the middle.
Printing the coloring sheets single-sided instead of double-sided is best if you want to use markers to color.
The ink from the markers may bleed onto the other side of the page and you don’t want that.
Having the staples showing may or may not bother you. If you find that you don’t like the staples showing then add a piece of masking tape or washi tape to cover them up.

Bonus Tip: Add a decorative border to the cover of the coloring book with a few pieces of washi tape!
Ways to Use the Santa Hat Coloring Pages
Once you’ve colored the coloring page with your markers or colored pencils, try adding a few more ideas to decorate it.
- Add some shine with metallic paint markers
- Stick silver bells around the top of the hat
- Glue faux white fur on the brim and point of the Santa hat
- Draw snowmen around the border.

Set up a table in the kitchen or any area of your home that you use for arts and crafts.
Put a stack of santa hat printables (at least one for each person) on the table. Add the metallic markers, faux fur and other decorations in different bowls in the middle of the table.

Tips for Coloring with Kids
If you’re doing this project with kids, you can either, show the kids how to embellish the santa hat coloring sheet or let them make up their own. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to have at least one finished example to show them.
