Keeping kids busy and entertained can be hectic sometimes.
They get bored fast and want a variety of activities to keep them busy.
To a large extent, the weather dictates the activities to plan for children.
Sometimes, it’s either too hot, too cold, or raining and all of a sudden, your outdoor activity plans get shelved.
You can use your Cricut to make crafts that engage the kids, whatever your situation.

Depending on their age, you may also make the crafts for them to use.
I get commissions for purchases made through some of the links in this post. There is no extra cost to you. See my full disclosure here.

Is Cricut kid friendly?
Kids using Cricut should always be supervised by an adult (hopefully an adult that knows how to use a Cricut machine, lol). A 9-year-old, 10-year-old, or 11-year-old can use it with some help and guidance.
What age is Cricut good for?
Cricut is good for any age.
Like I mentioned above, kids younger than 13 should have an adult help them.
If you have a teenager, then they should be able to use the machine by themselves.
But, as with any activity, you’re the best judge of your own child’s capabilities.
Which Cricut is good for beginners?
Cricut has a wide selection of cutting machines and most of them are good for beginners.
Try the Cricut Joy machine if you’re looking for something ultra simple. It’s small, lightweight, and easy to pack away.
