Add some fun to your holiday party activities for kids with these printable pumpkin coloring pages.
When you’re in the middle of planning the holiday menu, grocery shopping, and running errands, this one-page pumpkin coloring page is a simple way to keep little ones busy.
It also works as a handy Fall art activity for a group of children. It’s easy to color and they’ll love it because it’s fun and simple.
You’ll love it because you’ll finally be able to keep them busy while tending to your ever-growing to-do list. If you have a mixed group of ages, let the older ones help the little ones.
To make it all happen, I created a simple pumpkin coloring page that you can print for free. This coloring sheet works for preschool and school-aged children.
You can find it at the bottom of this post.
For the best coloring results, print it on quality printing paper. It doesn’t need to be fancy, just as long as it will hold up to markers and the weight of a few decorations.
This printable page can be used alone or you can print my whole set of thanksgiving coloring pages.

How to print a Coloring Book
If you like the single coloring sheet, then you’ll love making a coloring book with the complete set.
It’s simple to print the coloring pages as a book. Most home printers will have an option to print two sheets on one page.
I suggest only printing on one side, in case the kids want to use markers to color the images. Markers tend to bleed through regular printing paper and you don’t want the image on the other side to get ruined.
Once you print the sheets, fold them in half and staple the pages in the middle. You can add a piece of masking tape of washi tape to cover up the staples.

Bonus Tip: The washi tape is great for adding a decorative border to the cover of the coloring book too!
How to Use the Coloring Pages
Here are a few more ideas to decorate the coloring pages.
- Write each kid’s name with glitter markers
- Apply fall color buttons
- Stick green felt leaves on the stem.
- Glue orange pipe cleaners around the border.
- Put foam beads on the border of the page

Set up a table in the kids’ corner. Put a stack of pumpkin printables (at least one for each child) on the table.
Add the buttons, beads and other decorations in different bowls in the middle of the table.

You can either, show the kids how to embellish the pumpkin or let them do it themselves. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to have at least one example completed beforehand to show them the possibilities.

The kids will have fun letting their imagination run wild with ways to decorate this cute little pumpkin.
Here is a way to preserve their masterpieces so that they will last a little bit longer.
Bonus Tip: Turn the coloring sheet into a photo album.
Once they have finished coloring, you can scan each sheet and have them made into keepsake albums. This would make a nice DIY gift to give to grandparents.
