The printer is used to place the ink onto sublimation paper then that inked paper is placed onto the object be it fabric, glass, ceramic, etc.
So, why, as you state, would the printer have to be able to withstand high heat? Why would the printer need to be heat resistant? The heating of the ink doesn't happen inside the printer.
This doesn't make sense to me.
