How to print a Coloring Book
If you like the single coloring sheet, then you might want to learn how to draw a carrot or use the set to make a coloring book.
Think of it as a one-stop-shop for your coloring fix.
It’s simple to print the coloring pages as a book. Most home printers will have an option to print two sheets on one page.
I suggest only printing on one side, in case the kids want to use markers to color the images. The colors may bleed onto the other side of the paper.
Once you print the sheets, fold them in half and staple the pages in the middle. If you don’t like the look of the staples showing, add a piece of masking tape of washi tape to cover them up.

Bonus Tip: Add a decorative border to the cover of the coloring book with a few pieces of washi tape!
How to Use the Coloring Pages
Once you’ve colored the coloring page with your markers or coloring pencils, try adding a few more ideas to decorate it.
- Add some sparkle with glitter markers
- Apply orange pipe cleaners around the edges of the carrot
- Stick green felt leaves on the top
- Glue kidney beans to the bottom of the carrot for the soil.
- Draw more carrots around the border or draw a dog and a cow on a farm.

Set up a table in the kids’ corner. Put a stack of carrot printables (at least one for each child) on the table. Add the buttons, beads and other decorations in different bowls in the middle of the table.

You can either, show the kids how to embellish the carrot or let them do it themselves. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to have at least one example completed beforehand to show them the possibilities.
