Easy Drawings for Halloween – video tutorials

Halloween drawings are easy to make. This is one of my favorite holidays to make art projects because it’s full of scary jack-o-lanterns and spooky ghosts.

You’ll have fun making these because they can be done in about 20 minutes. Take your favorite one and turn it into a mask for your halloween costume.

I’ve packed in all the classic Halloween animals and characters and show you how draw them in short tutorials. The videos are easy enough for beginners but still fun for experienced artists.

Since they’re digital, you can save them in different file formats and use them in other crafts.

These drawings are made with basic shapes. Once you’re done, you can use the drawings to make fun decorations for a party or just to decorate around the house.

Not really tech-savvy, no problem! Each drawing can be sketched with a pencil and colored in with crayons or markers. Want to make this kid-friendly? Lay some newspaper or an old sheet on the table and use

  • large drawing paper
  • washable paint or
  • washable markers.

Drawing Ideas & Tips

If this is your first time making a digital drawing, here are some tips for you.

  • Use long strokes (if you use short strokes when drawing on paper, you’ll want to switch it up here)
  • Get familiar with the menu or keyboard shortcuts. This will save you time in the long run. You’ll want to memorize them or find a shortcut guide book, like my Inkscape, Ready, Set, Go! ebook.
  • Be patient, it takes time to get better.
